This is Post #3 of our “Where in the World are Luca & Nico?” series
Hi again! Nico here, and I’ve got one more mystery for you.
And this time… things got a little out of hand.
(And by “a little,” I mean Papa said he was legally obligated to write it down.)
See, this is the part of the trip where I may or may not have climbed something I definitely wasn’t supposed to climb.
I begged Papa not to include it here.
He nodded, said “We’ll see,” and then immediately wrote it down.
So yeah. Thanks, Papa. Really helpful.
I knew I shouldn’t have climbed the rope…
but in the moment, it felt like a good idea.
Spoiler: it wasn’t.
Let’s just say I’ll be extra respectful moving forward.
BUT…I also got to hang out with monkeys.
Real ones. On a mountain.
We locked eyes. They judged me. I respected that.
Luca, on the other hand, got to see what he now calls “my future house when I’m a professional soccer player.”
It’s shiny, fancy, and made of gold.
He stood there like it was his destiny.
I stood there wondering if we could eat lunch near it.
And one morning, we woke up before sunrise to visit a place that usually gets packed with people.
But not when we went.
It was quiet, peaceful, and kind of magical.
Luca says we were there to “soak in the atmosphere.”
I say we were there to outrun the tourists.
And we did.
And now it’s your turn to figure out where we went using these clues:
Clue #1
We followed a trail of red gates that led all the way up a mountain.
Luca said it was beautiful and quiet.
I said it was long and uphill.
But I still made it to the top, ninja-style.
Clue #2
We walked through a palace where the floors sang every time we took a step.
Luca said it was to catch sneaky ninjas.
I said it was the fanciest alarm system ever.
Then I tried to walk silently.
I failed.
Clue #3
We woke up before the sun to visit a giant wooden temple.
There were no crowds. No noise.
Just sunrise, silence, and stairs.
Luca said it was magical.
I said it was very early.
So… Where in the world were we?
Tell us your best guess in the comments or whisper it to the nearest fox statue.
(It totally counts.)
