This is Post #2 of our “Where in the World are Luca & Nico?” series

Hi again! Nico here, back with another mystery to solve… but first, let’s talk about something sneaky.

Remember that first post?
The one with the floating gate, the deer, the dramatic ninja pose?
Yeah… we never actually covered that place in our first spring adventure story.

That was Luca’s idea.
He said, “Everyone knows Miyajima. Let’s start with something that keeps people guessing.”
I said, “Are you sure tricking our readers is a good way to make friends?”
He said it would be fun.
(It was.)

But don’t worry, this time, the clues match the adventure.
No more mystery islands. Just one loud, glowing, food-filled city that we may or may not have eaten our way through.

Okay, yes, there were fire trucks.
No, they weren’t technically there for me.
But if you’ve ever gotten stuck mid-rope-bridge,
you’ll understand why I momentarily considered yelling “rescue mission!”

At one point, Luca tried to act brave in a Ferris wheel cabin 100 meters in the air.
He was not brave.
I was very supportive.

And now it’s your turn to figure out where went using these clues:

Clue #1:

This city is called Japan’s Kitchen…And I might’ve eaten takoyaki, then okonomiyaki, then something fried on a stick.
All before noon.
Luca called it “excessive.”
I called it “research.”

Clue #2:

There’s a super colorful train with a future mascot zooming around the city.
Luca said, “Cool design.”
I said, “This is my new personality.”
Some people take photos.
I started planning my campaign for Expo 2025 Train Ambassador.

Clue #3:

We wandered through a recreated town from hundreds of years ago.
At one point, I declared I was “lost in history.”
Luca said I was just circling the same alley.
He clearly doesn’t appreciate dramatic storytelling.

So… Where in the world were we?

Tell us your best guess in the comments or shout it into your bowl of ramen.
(It counts.)

Think you’ve cracked the case? Stay tuned to find out if you’re right when our next full adventure story drops in just a few days!

Stay curious, stay adventurous, and keep dreaming!
